    Position Overview
    The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a vital leadership role in the daily success of Miss Molly’s Cafe. As a key support to the General Manager, the AGM brings strong “manager eyes”—noticing what needs to happen, jumping in where needed, and keeping the team aligned and efficient throughout the day.

    This role balances hands-on leadership on the cafe floor with administrative coordination behind the scenes, supporting daily service, team communication, and the growth of our catering and wholesale programs. This position also includes being the primary person responsible for all catering and wholesale deliveries, requiring professionalism, organization, and strong time management.

    Key Responsibilities

    Front-of-House Leadership & Team Oversight

    • Supervise daily cafe operations and maintain high service standards

    • Write a clear, efficient daily floor plan to assign roles and balance workflow

    • Check in with the team at the start of each day to confirm:

      • Station assignments

      • Catering/wholesale orders and timing

      • Break coverage and overall shift plan

    • Support baristas and shift leads during service; coach and troubleshoot in real time

    • Identify and address service flow issues and communication gaps proactively

    • Manage weekly FOH schedule, time-off requests, and shift coverage

    • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of FOH staff

    • Maintain FOH inventory and ensure proper stock, organization, and reordering

    • Model professionalism, hospitality, and accountability on every shift

    Catering & Wholesale Coordination

    • Serve as the main point of contact for catering and wholesale clients

    • Respond to inquiries, send quotes, confirm orders, and manage communication

    • Create and send invoices; track payments and delivery timelines

    • Maintain and share a catering/wholesale calendar for cross-department visibility

    • Coordinate with the kitchen and FOH teams to ensure smooth order execution

    • Consistently complete catering and wholesale deliveries using the cafe vehicle

    • Represent Miss Molly’s with professionalism and warmth at all delivery drop-offs

    Administrative Operations

    • Maintain clear communication with the GM and team leads

    • Support accurate cash handling, shift reporting, and daily operations checklists

    • Participate in manager meetings and contribute ideas for improvement

    • Help refine internal systems to support team efficiency and guest satisfaction

    Ideal Qualifications

    • 2+ years of leadership or coordination experience in food service, catering, or hospitality

    • Strong “manager eyes” with the ability to spot and solve problems quickly

    • Calm and confident leadership in both busy and quiet moments

    • Highly organized and dependable with excellent follow-through

    • Clear, professional communication with team members, guests, and clients

    • Valid driver’s license and ability to complete deliveries as needed

    • Comfortable with Google Drive, POS, and basic invoicing platforms

    • Experience with espresso service is a plus—or willingness to learn

  • Schedule: Part-time OR Full-time, shifts are 5am-1pm or 7am-3pm (24-32 hours/week, early morning and weekend availability preferred)

Our pastry department crafts seasonal pastries, cookies, scones, and cakes using premium ingredients and classic techniques. We are passionate about quality, creativity, and creating a supportive team environment.

    Position Overview

    We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated Assistant Pastry Chef to support our bakery team in the preparation of our signature baked goods. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and a passion for baking—whether you’re looking to grow your culinary skills or bring existing experience into a creative, community-driven kitchen.


    Key Responsibilities

    - Assist with the daily production of pastries, cookies, bars, muffins, and cakes

    - Scale and mix batters and doughs according to house recipes

    - Portion, shape, and bake items with consistency and care

    - Decorate and finish bakery items with attention to quality and presentation

    - Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment

    - Follow all food safety guidelines and kitchen protocols

    - Assist with labeling, packaging, and organizing bakery orders as needed

    - Communicate clearly and professionally with the pastry team and café staff


    Preferred Qualifications

    - 1+ year of professional baking or pastry experience (or relevant culinary training)

    - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely

    - Comfort with early morning or weekend shifts

    - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

    - A team-first attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed

    - Passion for high-quality ingredients and from-scratch baking

  • A minimum of one year counter server experience is required. Barista experience is strongly preferred but not required. The ideal candidate is personable, hardworking, professional, and self-motivated. Candidates must be comfortable with multitasking and working in a fast paced environment.

    We are looking to fill 2-3 shifts per week, mostly weekdays, however weekend availability may be needed at times. The shifts are either 7-3pm or 9-3pm.     Duties include but are not limited to:

    - Take orders at the counter and over the phone with accuracy and efficiency

    - Ability to multitask pouring beverages and fulfilling bakery orders while engaging with customers and taking their orders

    - Assist with side work tasks such as making house beverages, stocking, running orders to tables, rolling silverware, etc

    - Participating in general cleaning tasks such as doing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and bussing tables

    Base wage + tips. Starting wage is based on experience.
